How to Transfer Money From Chime to Cash App
You cannot always push a dedicated “Chime → Cash App” button. You connect the two, then pull or withdraw.
The clean method
- In Cash App, add a bank and choose Chime if it appears, or enter Chime’s routing and account numbers from the Chime app.
- Confirm ownership (log-in overlay or micro-deposits).
- Add money to Cash App from that bank, or send to a $cashtag and then cash out.
You can also add the Chime debit card to Cash App. Card adds are often instant and may carry a fee depending on Cash App’s current rules.
Going the other way
To land money on Chime, cash out of Cash App to the linked Chime account. Standard cash-out is typically free in 1–3 business days. Instant cash-out charges a percentage (commonly around 1.5–1.75%).
If the link fails
Name mismatch, an unverified Cash App profile, or a Chime account that is too new can block verification. Make sure both apps show your legal name, and that you are not using a business Cash App for a personal Chime spending account unless the app allows it.
