The way we handle money and perform transactions has changed so radically in such a brief period of time. Today, the internet has made it so much simpler with things like Venmo cards, which can even be used for Apple Pay transactions.
Let’s see how you can order yourself a Venmo card.
How to order a Venmo card: To order a Venmo card, you first need to have the Venmo app. Once you have the app, open it and go to Settings. Next, select Get Venmo Card. You will then be prompted to apply for the card. It can take up to 5-7 business days for your card to arrive once you’ve been approved.
This blog will walk you through the steps of ordering a Venmo card using the app, as well as discuss in what exciting ways it’s different from a debit card.
Ordering A Venmo Card
There are some important things you need to remember when you’re trying to figure out how to order a Venmo card. It’s pretty simple, but if you aren’t familiar with androids or iPhones, the various icons and options you must go through can feel foreign.
Take out your Android or iPhone. At the aforementioned top, left-hand corner there is the icon that appears as though it were for paragraph alignment in a Word document.
Click it and scroll through the menu that appears on the screen. You’ll be looking for the option that reads “Venmo Card”.
The first thing that will appear is a screen telling you some of the features of a Venmo card. We’ll go over some of them here, but they’re worth just refreshing yourself with before moving forward.
At the bottom is the option to get a Venmo card.
The next screen asks you to choose a color for your new card. You can choose between white, black, blue, pink and purple. After choosing the color you want, the next several screens prompt you to enter your personal information.
You’ll be asked for your first and last name, the last four digits of your social security number and your birth date. Be sure to read the terms and conditions to your satisfaction and click “Next”.
You will then be asked for your address so they can ship you the card.
The final selection is probably the most important, as it dictates how you want your money managed digitally. The app will ask you if you want to have your Venmo card automatically refilled, when it’s empty, from the funds available connected at your local bank.
It’s entirely up to you whether or not this is how you’d like it done, but you should always keep a close eye on just how much money you have.
Once you review all the information you’ve just entered, click “Submit” and your card should arrive within five to seven business days.
You’ll also get a confirmation email to ensure the process is completed successfully.

Where Can I Use My Venmo Card?
Venmo cards are one of the most convenient financial systems owned by Paypal and powered by Mastercard. They’re accepted wherever that credit card is and can be used just as easily as debit cards.
The Venmo card is as close to an instant transfer as one can get using an online payment service, and it’s becoming incredibly useful for U.S. citizens.
The Venmo debit card is especially popular among youths, either in college or high school.
Carrying physical money around is becoming less and less common these days, so college students looking to split the check on a pizza or a night out have trouble scraping cash out of the cushions of their dorm couch the way they once did a generation ago.
Today, splitting the check using their Venmo apps is far more convenient.
However, there are some people who might not get much use out of the card. If you already have and use credit cards to your advantage, for instance, that might be a better option.
You’ll never get the one or two-percent interest that many credit card holders enjoy when making purchases by using a Venmo card; it’s just like virtual cash.
On the other hand, if you’re someone concerned about your credit report ruining your chances of getting a proper credit card, then a Venmo card might be a better alternative.
The world of money is described as one that’s constantly moving and shifting hands; an exciting, complex marketplace in which every second counts.
Since the internet, this has become even more intense. Banks like Capital One have even opened their own mobile payment service. Fortunately, though, it’s also become more convenient with new features like a Venmo card.
